In June, we're kicking off our 2022 Summer Reading Program (Theme: Dig Deeper: Read. Investigate. Discover.) and our June DIY Adventures kits are all about digging deeper into one of Arkansas's most well-known natural resources: quartz crystals! Each kit will contain information about Arkansas quartz, as well as supplies and instructions for wire wrapping a genuine Arkansas quartz crystal. Kit pick-up will be available in Benton and Bryant starting Wednesday, June 1, 2022. Kits are for adults and available on a first come, first served basis, while supplies last. Instructional videos for the project can be viewed on the Saline County Library Facebook page and on Niche Academy.
