On the first and third Thursday of the month, tune in as Community Librarian Alan Robinette speaks to members of our community who are making a real difference.
Saline County is a different kind of place. Big enough to have almost everything you need, but still small enough to have charm, community, and a sense of belonging. There are good people in Saline County making a real difference. Some are new, while others run generations deep. Some are well known, while others work behind the scenes. What they all have in common is a desire to make Saline County a great place to live for everyone.
We want to get to know these folks a little better. What is their story? What has worked for them? Why did they choose to make Saline County their home? And what ideas do they have to make our little corner of the world an even BETTER place to live?
Saline County Library presents Saline County Speaks: candid conversations with people making a difference in Saline County. People we all need to get to know a little better. We will speak directly to the businesspeople, media members, educators, and everyday citizens of Saline County who have big ideas from Benton to Bauxite, Bryant to Haskell, East End to The Village.
Please join us on SCL’s Facebook page every first and third Thursday at 7:00 PM for Saline County Speaks. New speakers will be announced each month, and we encourage you to submit questions in advance.
The Bob Herzfeld Memorial Library is located off Smithers Drive next to Tire Town and Showtime Graphics, behind Pasta J's.
