Presentation about the upcoming solar eclipse
In April 2024, there will be a total solar eclipse visible in the Northern Hemisphere. The path of totality will run through Arkansas from the southwest to the northeast corner and be 117 miles wide. Volunteers from the Central Arkansas Astronomical Society (CAAS) will talk about the history and science of solar eclipses, what to expect during an eclipse, and how to safely view the eclipse. Registration recommended but not required. For adults 18+.
