The LABC meets bi-monthly on the second Thursday of every even month to discuss the current book club selection. Please join us as we speak with author Jenny Carlisle!
There is so much writing talent in Arkansas, and we're on a quest to find it! Librarians Alan and Lyndsey select great reads from local authors, then we bribe them with candy to attend our meetings - either in-person or virtually - so they can talk about their books! Book clubs are awesome, but they're even better when you can ask questions of the author directly. While our authors can't attend every meeting, we strive to include them in any way we can.
This is a fun group, the books are generally quick reads, and we love to support Arkansas authors. Please join us! We're the cool kids. We promise. This week, we welcome Jenny Carlisle who will be talking about the second book in her Crossroads series, Faith Moves Mountains.
